Originally established in 1975, Belhaven Smokehouse is an award-winning Scottish Smokehouse, specialising in small batch curing and smoking of salmon, trout and cheese. We are also proud suppliers to some of the best retailers, hotels and restaurants in Scotland.

Originally a family business the smokehouse came into new ownership in March 2021. The new owners saw a great opportunity to support and invest in a local speciality food business and to ensure that we retain the skills of our highly talented production team.

The quality of our product starts with where we source our key ingredients. Our salmon is sourced from RSPCA accredited farms in Orkney and Shetland, the rainbow trout comes from Abbey St Bethan’s just 5 miles in the Scottish Borders and our Scottish Steelhead trout from Kames on the west coast of Scotland.

Our onsite shop sells a delicious selection of our smoked products and a variety of carefully selected specialist food products. We have a real passion for supporting other local artisan food producers from East Lothian and the rest of Scotland.

We have onsite parking and we are situated on the A199 just before you get to the A1.
